Project registered on SourceForge.
2010
BitVisor 1.0 released as the first public version.
Supports Intel VT-x / AMD-V and I/O mediation for USB and ATA devices.
2014
BitVisor 1.4 adds UEFI support, enabling use on modern PC firmware.
2017
BitVisor 2.0 released with major code reorganization and virtio-net support.
2024
BitVisor 3.0 released with AArch64 (ARM) support and migration to Kconfig.
