I guess you downloaded the latest code from the Mercurial repository
that contains many updates after v2.0. As you mentioned, the latest
code has WireGuard support described in the docs/wireguard.md file.
Currently the WireGuard support is only available for hypervisor
communications, not for guest. Only echo client/server for testing
and telnet_dbgsh for debugging are available in the source code for
the hypervisor communications. Users need to implement their own
networking programs to use it.
The docs directory was recently added for documentation. However,
basic documentation is not ready yet. Old documents in PDF are
available at the SourceForge.net project web site, but they are too
old. They are maybe useful for understanding the pass-through
hypervisor design concept, but they have no description about new
features like UEFI, xHCI, NVMe support and string based driver
configurations. Therefore, reading code is needed. Release notes of
v2.0 may be useful.
