In particular, it seems that bitvisor might work well with SoftEther and their VPNGate connections so I was wondering what experience anyone has had with using bitvisor for a guest OS to connect to VPNGate as I am wondering about the performance that you have seen with that approach. I have used SoftEther in the past and it was actually pretty good, but it seems that Wireguard is now more the modern approach that seems to have lower latency as well.
